What We Fancy
Much of the appeal of dive watches is the sheer functionality. Skin Divers are the featherweights of the diver category, they tend to be smaller, slimmer, and less water-resistant than others. Going back all the way to the mid-1950s, these skin divers can all be found with very similar cases but very interesting and different dial configurations from different brands. This example from Wittnauer is what we love. The enormous hour indices are accompanied by a generous amount of tritium lume that has aged just the way you want. To anyone who has not worn one, they are incredibly comfortable and sleek.
