You may be surprised to know that Rolex also produced the Datejust with a smooth bezel rather than a fluted/ engine turned. Well, they did, and its incredibly elegant and more casual at the same time. This example has a rare tropical gilt dial and is in phenomenal all original and recently serviced condition.

Movement: Rolex cal. 1570, automatic, recently serviced

Bracelet/ Strap: Rolex signed steel Jubilee ref. 6251H, 20mm lug width, will fit up to a 7.25” wrist with the option to remove links for a smaller fit, (any item from the Accessories Shop free)

Features: Tropical stepped gilt dial, smooth bezel, alpha handset, tritium lume, screw-down crown/ case back, cyclops crystal, date window, raised baton hour markers, applied crown logo, original bracelet, chronometer certified movement, circa 1967

Box & Papers: No

Condition: In overall excellent all original condition for its age. The dial, originally black, has aged to a very special tropical with gilt accents. No major defects or blemishes. The case has no major scratches or dents. Just some smaller superficial scratches, some light polishing in the distant past is likely. The movement has been recently fully serviced and runs to within 5 seconds per day. The bracelet is good with minimal wear and can be worn daily.
