The reference 1500 always falls into the value category when talking about vintage Rolex. The clean design with the date and smooth bezel essentially make for a smaller more casual Datejust. This example dates to 1970 and has a very cool patina’d gold two-tone case that almost looks like a rose gold or copper.

Condition: This Rolex is in overall very good condition. The dial is fantastic with no blemishes or major defects of any kind. The case is good with the original brushed finishing still visible but it has been polished lightly in the past. Some superficial scratches can be seen throughout. The lume is great and matches evenly. The movement is clean having been recently serviced and runs very well.
