1970 Bulova Accutron Day-Date
1970 Bulova Accutron Day-Date
What We Fancy
Accutron was first introduced in the mid-1960s and was revolutionizing for the watchmaking industry with its incredibly accurate electric movements. With some innovation comes debate and intrigue. Whenever I see these beautiful watches, I always remember a specific scene from one of my all-time favorite shows, Mad Men. In the first scene of the final season, the copy written by Don Draper and pitched by Freddie Rumsen reads, “Accutron, “It's Not a Timepiece. It's a Conversation Piece”. Just pure genius.
