What We Fancy

Mid-Twentieth century Seamasters are some of my favorite the legendary company ever produced. The dial layouts and thicker “beefier” cases wear very well for most people. This particular example has a fantastic tropical aging “gilt” dial.

Features: Tropical gilt dial, dauphine handset, applied logo, applied arrow hour markers, screw-down case back, beveled lugs, signed crown, circa 1958

Box & Papers: No

Condition: In overall excellent original condition. The gilt dial has aged to a beautiful tropical brown when in direct sunlight. The case is sharp having never been overpolished, no major scratches or dents. Just some smaller superficial scratches throughout. The movement has been recently serviced and keeps excellent time when tested.
