There is so much to love about a mid-century steel IWC dress watch. The casualness to it from the steel case, clean dial layout, and sleek size makes for a perfect understated vintage piece. This example is in all original condition and powered by the automatic IWC caliber 853.

Case: 35mm wide (excluding crown), 42mm tall, 10mm thick, all stainless steel, snap-on case back, domed acrylic crystal, signed crown, drilled lugs

Movement: IWC cal. 853, automatic, recently serviced

Features: White eggshell dial, silver dauphine handset, raised hour markers, screw-down case back, signed fish crown, domed crystal, circa 1960

Box & Papers: No

Condition: In overall very good all original condition. The dial is good with some discoloration towards the perimeter, something very common in these. The case is great with no signs of any overpolishing and no major scratches or dents. The original brushed finish can still be seen. The movement has been fully serviced and keeps accurate time when tested.
