The reference 51307 was released just after the launch of the Tri-Compax in 1945. UG deliberately shifted towards developing more complicated, calendar watches following WWII. These complicated timepieces showed what was in store for the future of watchmaking. This particular example is just simply stunning. All original, clean dial, solid gold case, & even the original radium lume.

Case: 35mm wide (excluding crown), 14k solid yellow gold, snap on case back, original un-signed crown, domed crystal, drilled lugs

Movement: Universal Geneve cal. 291, manual winding, recently serviced

Bracelet/ Strap: Dark Brown Crocodile leather, 18mm lug width

Features: Clean white dial, triple-date features, moonphase, blued steel sword handset, radium lume, solid gold case, snap on case back, domed crystal, in-house movement, Arabic numerals, circa 1946

Box & Papers: No

Condition: in overall excellent all original condition. The dial is very good with no major defects and no signs of heavy patina. The case is great with some very small superficial scratches throughout but nothing major. Possibly some very light polishing in the distant past. The movement has been recently fully serviced and operates well.
