Universal Geneve gained notoriety during the middle of the twentieth century by producing some of the most important and influential chronograph watches and movements ever. The buttery smooth chronograph operation needs to be felt and cannot be explained. This example dates to the 1940s and is a very rare solid gold model.

Condition: In overall excellent all original condition. The dial is incredible for its age with no visible defects or blemishes. The solid gold case is very good with no major dents and only some smaller superficial scratches. The pushers are original and show some light wear. The movement has been recently serviced and keeps excellent time, the chronograph function operates smoothly.
