Seiko "Monaco" Flyback Chronograph
Seiko "Monaco" Flyback Chronograph
What We Fancy
This piece is nicknamed Monaco for its highly unique case shape, very reminiscent of a certain 1970's Heuer chronograph by the same name. Seiko designed various different watches during the 1970s that really went against the standard. This reference 7016-5001 is one of my favorite from the Japanese brand for various reasons. Odd case, flyback chronograph function with a dual sub-register, and the clean grey dial to match the steel case.
