Seiko Diver ref. 6105-8110 'Captain Willard'
Seiko Diver ref. 6105-8110 'Captain Willard'
What We Fancy
The Seiko Diver reference 6105-8110 was made famous after appearing on the wrist of Martin Sheen in the 1979 Francis Ford Coppola film Apocalypse Now. The Seiko 6105 dive watch was popular among U.S. servicemen during the Vietnam War in the early 1970s due to the durability to withstand the rugged environment during the war. This particular example dates to 1972 and has the early rare long seconds hand. Finding these in this good of condition is a tough feat, this one coming from a private collection.
