The reference 145.022-69 was produced from 1969 until 1971 & plays a pivotal role in Speedmaster history. This reference was the last to not mention the moon landing on the case back & is known as “pre-moon” because of this. This example also features a dot over 90 bezel, stepped dial, & Hippocampus case back that is extremely sought after by collectors to this day. If you ask any serious collector what watch is an absolute must in any collection, I can guarantee you they will mention the Omega Speedmaster. It is a historically significant watch from a legendary brand & finding quality examples is challenging. This example is all original and dates to 1971 and even comes with the original box, papers, and extra links.

Condition: In overall great all original condition. The dial is very good with no major defects, the original tritium lume is still present on the dial & hands. The case is very good with some minor dings & scratches that are to be expected for a watch that was used. No signs of any overpolishing. The original crystal has some light scuffs/ scratches. The movement has been serviced and keeps excellent time when tested on the machine while the chronograph works as it should The bracelet is very good with little minor hand and will fit up to a 7 1/2” wrist.
