What We Fancy

In a time period where Omega developed and released so many variations of watches from Seamasters, Speedmasters, & Constellations this reference 168.050 is just so damn cool for several reasons. First off, it’s just flat-out different. The large jumbo case has many different angles that are brushed and beveled, something that Omega does not do on other models. At least to this extent. The cool racing dial is also a really nice touch. Just a cool piece with an oversized funky steel case.

Case: 42mm wide (excluding crown), 44mm tall, 13mm thick, all stainless steel, screw-down case back, original signed crown, mineral crystal

Movement: Omega caliber 561, automatic, recently serviced, serial 244xxxx

Bracelet/ Strap: Bracelet is original Omega but no evidence was found if it's original to this model, 22mm lug width

Features: Silver sunburst racing dial, jumbo steel case, acrylic crystal, signed crown, screw-down case back, applied logo, original box, date window, quickset date, raised baton hour indices, tritium, chronometer grade movement, inscription on the case back, circa 1966

Box & Papers: Yes, the original red box

Condition: In overall fantastic condition for its age. The dial is very good considering many of these dials are worn and heavily patina’d. Only some very light blemishes and some wear towards the edge of the dial. The case is truly excellent with no signs of any polishing and no major scratches or dents. The movement has been recently serviced and keeps accurate time while tested over 24-hours. Although cosc chronometer grade timekeeping cannot be guaranteed.
