Cyma W.W.W. 'Dirty Dozen'
Cyma W.W.W. 'Dirty Dozen'
What We Fancy
During the tail end of WWII, Britain’s Ministry of Defense (MoD) made custom orders from 12 manufacturers in Switzerland to equip soldiers. The watches needed to have a black dial, large luminescent hands, regulated to chronometer level, waterproof, have fixed spring bars, have a broad arrow on the dial, and have government serial numbers on the case back. ‘Watch, Wristlet, Waterproof’. Around 20,000 of the Cyma models were delivered making them one of the easiest to come by for collectors. But finding them in good/ original condition such as this is no easy task.
