We always love getting in vintage pieces that are off the beaten path if you will. Whether brand or functionality. With this 1960s Bucherer you get both. Bucherer is a brand many have not heard of but they were a very reputable brand during the mid-twentieth century producing some excellent dress and tools watches such as this diver. A ‘Super Compressor’ is a dive watch that’s case functions in a smart but utilitarian way. The deeper you go in the water, the tighter the case becomes making it more water-resistant at greater depths without sacrificing proportions like beefy steel cases, screw-down crowns, and thick case backs. This is one of the larger super compressors we’ve come across coming in at 41mm wide! great size for a modern wear. It has a gorgeous blue dial and perfectly matching creamy yellow tritium lume.

Condition: In overall excellent all original condition. The dial is fantastic with no blemishes or defects. It is clean and a beautiful blue color that reflects differently in a different light. The case is good with some minor wear such as scratches in some areas. Some signs of light polishing in the distant past. The movement has been serviced and keeps excellent time when tested.
