This isn’t the first time Hodinkee and Grand Seiko have teamed up to create a limited-edition watch. But this one is our favorite and here’s why. Proper proportions, design, and convenience. At just under 40mm and on a bracelet, this watch wears perfectly well on any wrist. The design of the sharp edges we all know and love from GS is here in spades while the newly updated Twilight Blue dial steals the show. For me, the power reserve is essential to any modern timepiece I own or wear. The caliber 9S66 is capable of running for 72 hours when fully wound. That means if you leave it on your nightstand Friday evening, it’ll be ticking away come Monday and even has some juice left.
